Ordered the steak and cheese sub with fries and a drink came up to $13 and it was delicious. Just wish the sub had a little bit more meat but other than that it was delicious. The fries were nice and crispy. No complaints. Food 4 out of 5 Customer Service 5 out of 5 good young respectful men thanks
This place is a hidden gem. Nothing fancy, but the food was fantastic. However the wait for your food was long! But worth the wait. The servers were very nice. The portions are large as we all had take home plates. We had the fried catfish, friend chicken, and fried haddock, yams, collard greens, mac & cheese, and cabbage. We all enjoyed our dishes. That cabbage was the best I've ever had! If we are ever back in the area we will definitely be back! I highly recommend. Just make sure to be patient.
Food was amazing. Atmosphere was nice. Wait was worth it. Chicken was crispy Mac and Cheese is definitely cheesy. Cornbread was soft Drinks were good. Nice people.
Excellent food! A little lengthy wait, but it was really good! I'll be back there as soon as possible!
Some of the most crunchy, fresh, juicy, delicious fried chicken I've ever had. And they serve big portions that match the price. But don't come if you're looking for a quick meal and bring your patience because we waited about 40 minutes for our food. The sides are okay, nothing special. Servers were perfectly nice. Not a super aesthetic space, but clean, and lots of community members seem to enjoy as well.
The food was delicious. The yams brought me happiness. I had a ton of leftover food, so it's worth the money. We had to wait awhile for our food, but everyone in my group really enjoyed their meals. And our waiter was super nice. I definitely recommend.
Wow! Just wow! Being from Atlanta, I can say that I am a good judge of taste when it comes to soul food. This place is legit. Like the real real deal. I am so glad I found this place and I will most definitely be back. The fried chicken is the bomb dot com! The sides were all amazing, we had max and cheese, collards, green beans and yams. ALL SO GOOD. I highly recommend! The owner was extremely nice and gave great service. The restaurant was also super clean. I cannot say enough about our experience being all around fantastic! I will definitely see you there!
Yelp! The Miller's are service, class and good cooking that is Simply Soul.. Simply home away from home! I am in Buffalo, New York and feel like I am in the dirty south. If you didn't know, now you know, Simply Soul gots that smoke. We are a party of 13, hungry and lucked up on Simply Soul. Y'all already know, from this menu, we wants Everything And THEY GOTS RED KOOL AID! Whew chile. Mother D got the Oxtails with yams and greens. Joube had the "worlds best" hamburger steak and rice with cabbage and Mac and cheese. Neet-Neet got barbecue chicken with baked beans and Mac and cheese. Dee had a fried chicken plate with greens and rice and gravy. Bae got a rib and chicken plate with greens and yams. D. Michele had the catfish plate with cabbage and dirty rice. Mommy had chicken with cabbage. La-La and Bree had cheeseburgers. Robert chose the roast with rice, collard greens and candied yams. Auntie had the catfish and grits to go. Finally, I had the 10 piece fried wingettes with rice and gravy, Mac and cheese and collard greens. This stuff here good. I done tried everything from everybody. Except these kids with these burgers. You know, they be stingy. By far, this is the best soul food I have had north of the Mason Dixie line. But they cornbread though, let me just say, get ready to slap somebody, cause, it's good. I'm mean good. This is home away from home, cause Mr. Miller is from Alabama. KINFOLKS, keep up the work. If I'm ever back up to Niagara, Simply Soul is a simply must. I'll be back!
